Spaces are shared groups where multiple users can upload, view, and organize receipts together. Once you invite someone to your Space, any receipt scanned within that Space becomes immediately visible to all members, keeping everyone's budget aligned.

Receiptive uses on-device text recognition (OCR) powered by Apple's Vision framework to scan receipt images. It automatically extracts critical details such as the merchant/vendor name, transaction date, itemized prices, tax, and the total amount so you don't have to enter them manually.

Yes. Your data is stored securely in our cloud database with strict Row Level Security (RLS) policies. Only authenticated members of a Space can view the receipts uploaded to that specific Space. We do not sell your personal financial records.

From the Spaces tab in the iOS app, select the Space you want to share and tap the Invite button. This generates a unique deep link (e.g., receiptive://join?space=UUID). When the recipient taps this link on their device, it will open the Receiptive app and prompt them to join your Space.

Yes. Because our OCR scanning operates locally on your iOS device, you can scan and save receipt info even without an internet connection. Once you are back online, the app will automatically synchronize your offline entries with your shared Space.
